I had a great experience at the Shack in Waterford CT. I went there for my birthday breakfast, had fried corned beef hash two eggs sunny side up home fries and a couple of hot coffee and the food and service was outstanding. If you never been to the Shack you put it on your to do list.
Had a delicious breakfast recently at The Shack! My hubby had to go for The Mess and loved every bite. My 21month old enjoyed his French toast, over all great food, amazing staff and a must try in Nee London.

There's never been a bad meal or bad service any of the times I've been to any location of The Shack. The prices are great too. I would recommend them to everyone looking for a good meal!
Wonderful comfort food dishes of all kinds can be found here! Staff is not only friendly but very attentive. Prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are large and filling. The whole vibe was one of hospitable invitation. A great diner!
Exactly what I wanted for breakfast quick and hearty good. Had sausage gravy and biscuits, with 2eggs over medium on top. yumm-o. No pics cuz I was hungry and ate too quickly. There's a reason this place is always hopping.
My grandma has some memory issues and has a hard time ordering/deciding food. The staff is always super patient with her. Even if it takes a few times to come back to our table. I appreciate how understanding and easygoing they make it for us. The service and food are spot on!
